　　PBS宣布续订《桑迪顿》第二季&第三季。贾斯汀·杨(《天堂岛疑云》)担任首席编剧及执行制作人，查尔斯·斯特里奇(《故园风雨后》)担任总导演。该剧改编自简·奥斯汀创作的同名未完成小说，由罗斯·威廉姆斯、提奥·詹姆斯主演，讲述了年轻的乡村姑娘夏洛特遇到一个风趣幽默、劲头十足的男人希德尼，他试图把这个沉寂的小乡村变成度假胜地，村民们能否发财就看这个开发计划能否成功。

11月登陆法国Canal+频道的法剧《凡尔赛》(Versailles)是一部以法国路易十四为时代背景的电视剧，描绘了主角路易十四在1667年，也就是他28岁这一年，在风口浪尖时座位法国波旁王朝的冷酷君主是如何解决难题并建立欧洲最奢华的凡尔赛宫。值得关注的是，这部电视剧有着高昂的资金预算投入和强大的工作团队，旨在与英剧《唐顿庄园》和美剧《权力游戏》一较高下。
