自从小鬼当家首次在1臺灣電影網990年推出后，1992年又有续集，同样取得票房上的成功，这次由新导演推出的第三集更加入富于创意的高新技术以及新的主演童星。故事讲的是有关美国国防事务机密的电脑晶片，经由国际盗匪的几度转手，由香港运抵美国，而且在阴差阳错中被一位不相干的老太太无意中调了包。当盗匪集团的人好不容易打听到老太太的住址时，正碰上因出水痘不得不独自当家的小鬼亚历克斯，他把四个盗匪折腾得死去活来，不愧是智勇双全的超级小鬼。

In an attemt to reconcile the roblems in their relationshi, Myra (Carmen Anello) and James (Owen Lawless) venture to an isolated cabin in the mountains. It is there they encounter an ancient evil that haunts the landscae, caable of turning eole into deformed monsters. Not only will they be fighting for their relationshi, they will be fighting for their lives.
