日本的太极地（Taiji）是一个风光秀丽的美丽海湾，然而每年在这里有23000头海豚被日本渔民捕杀本片真实而客观的记录了这一残忍的行为。 在著名的海洋哺乳类动物专家里克·奥巴瑞的带领下，一群爱冒险的激进分子扛着顶级的装备走进了日本太极地的一个海湾。深入现场，真实记录下大量野生动物被人类虐杀的暴行，并揭示了严重威胁到人体健康的一种现象。
